Since 1945, Illiana Christian High School has been proud to continue a powerful tradition of assembling the finest academics, arts, athletics and Christianity in one place. Our mission has endured since the very beginning – to lead our young adults toward a life of service. Our art and athletic offerings help to form students who are well-rounded, active and passionate about music, sports and more. Art Offerings Unite With a Christian Education in NWI

It’s been said that music is the heart of life. Music has the ability to enhance our lives in many ways, and our programs include a multitude of options that are certain to pique your child’s interests. We provide the opportunity to sing in four choirs, including concert choir, a Capella choir, women’s chorale and chamber singers. Each group brings something unique to the table. For example, the chamber singers meet after school and focus on traditional madrigal music. They can often be found out in the community singing at events.

Every year, our talented students are celebrated at a Fine Arts Competition. Here students can showcase their individual talents whether they dance, play an instrument, sing, take photographs, or create a form of visual art. The competition encourages creativity and individuality through personal expression. The Drama Department also produces two productions a year that encourage involvement by our students in such areas as acting, set design, painting, music and behind-the-scenes.

A well-rounded education provides opportunities for student athletics, as well as academics and arts. Students learn teamwork, sportsmanship, respect and personal motivation as athletes on the field or court. We offer many high-quality sports programs, such as soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, track, cross country, soccer and tennis. We feel that athletics helps encompass Christian teachings by promoting humility and compassion.
