Sola Center Auditorium

The $16-million state-of-the-art facility was built with private donations from school supporters and community members.  Construction began in September of 2024, and school officials are very pleased that it was completed before the end of this school year so that the Senior class will have some time to enjoy the auditorium.

“The solar center was funded by the incredible generosity of the Illiana Christian community,” said Lance Davids, Head of School.  “I am always humbled at the incredible faithfulness of this community when it comes to its support of Christian education.”

The Board of Illiana has named the facility “The Sola Center” Auditorium.  This is based on the five Latin phrases that summarize the core theological pillars of the Protestant Reformation:  Scripture Alone, Faith Alone, Grace Alone, Christ Alone, and To the Glory of God Alone.   Illiana is a Christian high school founded on the Biblical beliefs of the Reformed Church.

“The sola center will be used by the entire Illiana community,” added Davids. “It will be used for plays, musicals, chapels, concerts, worship, youth gatherings, churches, partner schools, and everyone else who calls the Illiana community home. ”
