Parents Involved in Education (P.I.E.) is Illiana’s fundraising organization which raises funds for the Excellence in Education program. P.I.E. is administered by a board of Illiana parents. Through the efforts of many volunteers, P.I.E. makes significant financial contributions to Illiana each year. This parent organization is a very intentional way of reducing the number of student fundraisers needed to keep the school operating effectively. In its fundraisers, the P.I.E. board strives to provide valued services to the school while also raise funds to pay for much needed educational equipment and services. Additionally, P.I.E. provides the lunch program to students.
Statement of Purpose
The Constitution of Parents In Education states the purpose of the organization as being:
- To create more interest in Illiana Christian High School and the Reformed faith for which we stand.
- To acquaint ourselves with parents, teachers and friends of the school.
- To aid the school financially through the Catering Service, "An Evening For Illiana" Fundraiser, and Scrip. The proceeds from these fundraisers enhance educational resources for our students.
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossians 3:17
