Students must attend all study sessions and all exams with only the following exceptions: (1) If you have a study hall or (2) if you are vouching out of an exam, you do not need to attend that exam period or the study session preceding it.  Study sessions and exam sessions will meet for the entire time allotted.  Students not scheduled to be in a study session or exam because of the exceptions above must be either off campus or in the Media Center during those times.  Students who arrive during either a study session or an exam must report to the Media Center.  Also, the above exceptions would be the only legitimate reason for being off campus between the starting and ending times of each day.  The intent of the study sessions is to give students one more opportunity to make sure they are well prepared for an exam.  Study sessions will be held in the same room and with the same teacher as the following exam.  Students should bring study materials.  These are study sessions, not review sessions, which means that students will have this time to prepare themselves for exams, not to have the teacher prepare them.

TEXTBOOK RETURN:

Return books at the south concourse across from the gym. Textbooks may be returned between exams and for one hour after school ends each exam day.  CHROMEBOOKS AND CHARGERS:   Return to the Media Center to be examined and checked in.  Students should return their Chromebooks and chargers during exam week once their exams are over.

FROM THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE

CURRENT ILLIANA FAMILIES! Do you have an incoming freshman? If the answer is yes, and you haven’t done so already, NOW is time to fill out Illiana’s admission application. All incoming freshmen are required to fill out the online application and enrollment packet. Class schedules are being created so please complete the admissions process and select courses as soon as possible.

  • Application Instructions: Current Illiana families can access the application in their ParentsWeb/Family Portal under Apply/Enroll and start a new application. (Remember, current Illiana students do not need to fill out an application.) New families should visit the Admissions page on the Illiana website.
  • After you have submitted your student’s application, you will need to enroll them by completing the online enrollment packet. Instructions for completing this packet will be emailed to you once the application for admission is submitted.
  • When the enrollment packet and fee are submitted, you’ll receive instructions about choosing your freshman student’s classes. Contact Director of Admissions Jenna Dutton, at 219-558-7066 Ext. 41 or jdutton@illianaweb.org with any questions or concerns.

We are thankful for the opportunity to welcome students into our community for an academic year and in some cases, an entire high school career. Please prayerfully consider being a host family for the upcoming academic year. Contact Jenna Dutton for more information. Host families receive a stipend that covers the cost of tuition for one of their own children, plus an additional summer stipend.

SENIOR PICTURES: Juniors should note that senior pictures will be taken July 12-14.  HR Imaging has provided brochures that were handed out to every junior.  The brochure contains instructions and a link to schedule an appointment.  Please check with your junior to make sure you receive the information.    Contact HR Imaging at 815-433-1766 if you have any questions.  Retakes will be September 22 and 24.  Please note: while the purchase of a photo package is not necessary, ALL seniors must be photographed by HR Imaging in order to appear in the 2022 Spire (yearbook).
