Music Boosters

The Illiana music programs incur many expenses throughout the year. These expenses include purchasing new and used instruments, music, instrument cases, music stands, and uniforms as well as paying for entrance fees and transportation for competitions, festivals, and field trips. Music parents are needed to support our excellent music programs at Illiana.

To avoid charging families a ‘flat fee’ for participation in our programs, we offer ways for parents AND students to earn points towards a yearly total that all music students are required to meet. Ensemble participation varies between 10-15 points per ensemble; ask your director how many points are needed.  Students who do not meet their total required points will be charged $20 per point at the end of the year.

Concession Stand Volunteers

The indoor concession stand is run by the Music Boosters as a fundraiser for the band, choir, and orchestra.  Parents of all music students are required to serve for AT LEAST one shift in order to earn additional points in other ways.  It is a lot of fun to work concessions and allows us to be a great support to our athletics department.

Parents can earn all their points by serving on the booster committee or being a concession stand stocker.

We are looking forward to another fantastic year!
