For the first time in its 70-plus-year history, Illiana Christian High School has an official, sanctioned mascot. “Victor The Viking” was introduced to students at the beginning of the school year and will make appearances at various sporting events and other special events throughout the year. “Victor” will be played by a team of yet-to-be-determined students. The mascot was the idea of the Athletic Director, Mr. Darren DeBoer. Mr. DeBoer thought a mascot would bring even more fun to sporting events and help increase school spirit. Remember, you can’t spell V-I-C-T-O-R-Y, without Victor!
