Our Head of School, Mr. Lance Davids, released the following statement and video today regarding the Auditorium Seat Challenge:
“It is a very happy Friday, and we have much to be thankful for.
We have officially met our auditorium seat challenge. That means our community helped raise about $1.1 million to go towards finishing the auditorium. Thanks to so many of you for donating to this challenge. We had people buy seats for themselves, for their families, for their kids, and even some for their workers. It is a blessing to see the whole community come together again. Thank you for your continued faithful giving to Illiana and our students.
So, that leaves us with $2.3 million to be fully funded by Jan. 1. As we head to the end of the year, please remember us with your end-of-year giving. Anything you can do to help us reach our goal of a fully funded auditorium would be a blessing. We will talk more about that in the coming weeks. However, for today, THANKS!”
