Mr. Brummel comes to Illiana after working 40 years as an engineer in the private sector. He teaches Engineering Design, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and Makerspace. He is a graduate of Illiana and received his undergraduate degree from Dordt College. He has a BA in Education from Trinity College and an MS in Industrial Supervision from Chicago State University. Mr. Brummel is married to his wife Deb and they have two grown children: Alyssa and Derek. He lives in Dyer and attends Munster Church.
