Mrs. Rachel DeVries has worked full-time in the Student Services Department at Illiana since 2017. She graduated from Trinity Christian College with a major in Elementary Education, minor in English and endorsements in Social Science, Middle School and Special Education. She received her Master’s Degree in Special Education  through Trinity Christian College.  Mrs. DeVries has also taught at Crown Point Christian School and Lansing Christian School.

Mrs. DeVries enjoys being a co-sponsor for Right to Life, a co-sponsor of the Senior Class Trip,  and working with students after school for extra academic support. She has a strong desire to be an advocate for the students in Student Services and those needing extra support in the general classroom. When not at school, she enjoys reading, vacationing and spending quality time with her husband Mike and two children, Sydney and Colin.
