Mrs. Menninga is the director of Illiana's Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band. She also teaches Instrumental Techniques, a one semester class for those students desiring to be in band with little or no instrumental background, and teaches the music portion of RPOC, Reformed Perspective on Culture. In addition to these classroom studies, Mrs. Menninga directs the Woodwind Quintet, Brass Quintet, Jazz Band, Pep Band, and is a musical director for the annual Illiana Christian Musical.
Mrs. Menninga has her undergraduate degree in Music from Calvin College and her Masters Degree in Music Education from VanderCook College in Chicago. She has been teaching/directing for 31 years, having taught at Highland Public Jr. High, Lansing Christian, Highland Christian, and is in her 9th year at Illiana.
Pat has been married to her husband, Craig, for over 30 years. Their three children, Adam, Lauren, and Aaron are all graduates of Illiana. Pat and Craig live in Saint John, IN and are members of New Life CRC (formerly Second CRC) in Highland.
