Mrs. Kara Terpstra teaches Chemistry.  She has previously taught on a part-time basis here at Illiana and at Munster High School.  She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and has a Master in Education from Concordia University and is currently working on her Masters in Chemistry from the Illinois Institute of Technology.  Mrs. Terpstra is married to John Ryan and they have three boys:  Lucas, Grant, Reed, and one daughter: Madeline.  They live in Lowell and attend Bethel in Crown Point.
