Mr. Gabrielse teaches Physics and Principles of Engineering. He was previously the head of the science department for the Baltimore public school system. He attended Calvin University and went on the get a Master of Art in Teaching degree from Johns Hopkins University. He was the 2009 VEX (robotics) World Championship teacher of the year. He and his wife Abby live in Crown Point with their two sons.
