In today’s disconnected culture of intense competition for college admissions, parents are seeking alternative avenues for their children’s education. Our students develop into compassionate, faithful adults who make significant impacts on our communities and our world. Illiana Christian High School forges connections between our students, our region and to God. Since 1945, our mission has always been to provide our students with superior education offerings alongside the tools for them to best serve God. The challenge in this day and age to live according to Christian values is part of what we tackle at our high school.
Our comprehensive take on living as a Christian today is at the core of what makes our high school a unique place. We have had more than 9,000 alumni graduate and are proud to have them as part of our extensive family. Preparing our students for the next steps in their spiritual journeys is found in all aspects of our school. From the fields to the stage to the classroom, our staff and coaches consider how our young men and women can follow the Bible throughout their lives. We offer opportunities for academic excellence in a space that also nurtures spiritual growth.
The virtues of sincerity and courtesy are among the values that we hold dear and teach in our classrooms. Christian principles are carried through to ensure that your children will learn how to fully live as a servant of Christ. Your children will learn Scripture and the ways to incorporate these principles into their lives.
With more than 110 courses available, you can rest assured that your children will receive an outstanding education. As most of our students are college-bound after graduation, you will find that we have the prep courses that they need to be successful. Advanced Placement classes include Calculus, Chemistry, Spanish and German. Dual-credit offerings give students college credit before they graduate.
Our counseling department is available to help both students and their families. Our counselors can assist with academic, spiritual or personal situations that need attention. You will find them extremely helpful in course selection, college preparation and future planning. Our counselors want students to feel that they can talk about any challenges that they are facing as adolescents growing into young adults. These discussions are done in a confidential, nonjudgmental setting.
Decisions on your children’s education can be daunting, which is why we encourage any and all inquiries through our online contact form. We would love to meet you in person! Visit us at 10920 Calumet Ave. in Dyer, Indiana.
