Illiana serves approximately 630 students from Christian homes across Northwest Indiana and the south suburbs of Chicago. Accredited by Christian Schools International (CSI) and Cognia, Illiana is committed to excellence in education and to fostering a vibrant, faith-filled community of learners.

Position Overview:
Illiana Christian High School is seeking a passionate and qualified Math Teacher to join our high school faculty for the 2026-27 school year. This is a full-time position with benefits. The ideal candidate will have a love for mathematics, a heart for Christian education, and a desire to help students see how God’s order and creativity are revealed through the study of math. Teaching responsibilities may include Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, or other high school-level math courses, depending on experience and department needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging math instruction grounded in a biblical worldview.
  • Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, respect, and spiritual growth.
  • Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and support student success.
  • Participate in faculty devotions, professional development, and school-wide events.
  • Show a Christ-like attitude in relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Desire to integrate faith and learning in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Secondary Education (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Teaching license (or ability to obtain one).
  • Demonstrated commitment to Christian education and the Reformed faith.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relational skills.
  • Desire to integrate faith and learning in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.
