As a math teacher, you will play a vital role in living out our mission by helping students grow spiritually, academically, and socially through your teaching.

Illiana serves approximately 630 students from Christian homes across Northwest Indiana and the south suburbs of Chicago. Accredited by Christian Schools International (CSI) and Cognia, Illiana is committed to excellence in education and to fostering a vibrant, faith-filled community of learners.

Position Overview:
Illiana Christian High School seeks a faithful and nurturing Bible Teacher to join our high school faculty for the 2026-27 school year. This is a full-time position with benefits. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to Christian education and can help students recognize God’s work through the study of the Bible. Teaching responsibilities may include Bible 1-3 (Religion), Bible 4 (Humanities), or other high school-level Bible courses, depending on experience and department needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach the Bible and help students to grow in their faith and knowledge of the Word
  • Establish and communicate learning objectives that are consistent with Biblical worldview, student needs, curricular goals, and state standards
  • Passion for Christian education
  • Prepare lessons and materials that align with curricular goals and the State of Indiana standards
  • Engage in devotions, professional development, and school activities.
  • Reflect Christian values to students, parents, and faculty.
  • Desire to integrate faith and learning in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Teaching license (or ability to obtain one).
  • Demonstrated commitment to Christian education and the Reformed faith.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relational skills.
