The preamble of the Constitution of Student Council states that Student Council is established to train its members in citizenship in school and society, to promote leadership, to promote student-faculty-administration cooperation, and to manage activities for the student body. Six members of each class are elected by their classmates to serve on Student Council. The Council meets twice weekly during club period.
