Jazz Band is an instrumental ensemble using Big Band instrumentation. The Jazz Band students study and rehearse literature from the “Big Band Swing Era” up through present day Jazz, Rock and popular music. The group rehearses after school two days a week and performs several times a year. Jazz Band membership is by audition only. Students must be enrolled in Wind Ensemble or Symphonic Band to audition.
