Mr. Peter Boonstra is the school principal. He has served at Illiana for a decade. Before coming to Illiana he served as a principal or superintendent at Northern Michigan Christian School, Eastern Christian School, and Platte Christian School. He received his BA from Trinity Christian College, an MA in English from The University of Iowa and another MA in Educational Administration from Concordia University. He is married and has four children, two of whom are students at Illiana. He and his family are members of First Christian Reformed Church of Crown Point, Indiana.
